A BURST water pipe has forced the closure of part of a road connecting Fishcross and Glenochil.
Emergency repairs have been commenced at the site on Collyland Road (B9140) between Fishcross and the roundabout leading to Glenochil and Alva.
During works to repair a burst pipe, the road was found to be damaged, requiring a full road closure while repairs can be carried out safely.
Scottish Water are carrying out the repair works at the site and have released a statement warning customers may experience outages.
They said: “While we carry out the repair work, some customers may experience no water supply, low/ intermittent water pressure or discoloured water.
“Scottish Water apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks local residents and businesses for their patience and understanding.”
Drivers are urged to avoid the road while repair works are carried out and if anyone requires further information, they can contact Scottish Water on 0800 0778 778.
