A DRIVER has been reported to the procurator fiscal after leaving a car abandoned with no insurance in Tullibody.
Officers from the Stirling Road Police team responded to calls of an abandoned vehicle in the town.
Upon inspection of the vehicle, they found that it had no insurance and one of its tyres had an exposed cord.
They published a post on their Facebook page, showing a photo of the vehicle, with a statement on the incident.
It said: "A phone call was made to police about this vehicle having been abandoned in Tullibody.
"Turns out it had no insurance and a very dodgy tyre with cord exposed.
"Stirling RP traced the driver/owner who has been reported and vehicle seized."
