A WEE COUNTY woman has launched an appeal in a bid to find her dog, which went to the kennels and got rehomed in Alloa.

Due to difficulties in her family life, heart-broken Catriona Wilson says she had to leave her three dogs behind when she was forced to move houses nearly a year ago.

She has recently been reunited with two of her well-loved Labradors, but also discovered that her Staffordshire Terrier was picked up one morning from the streets of Coalsnaughton and taken to Bandeath Dog Shelter sometime in May.

The well-missed female dog is around 12-years-old, has a range of medical problems and is pure white in colour with a black patch on its ear. Catriona says she has had the dog since it was a little puppy and at the time it was found, it was wearing a red collar.

Following investigations, Catriona understands her Staffie was rehomed in Alloa and she hopes to trace her in the hope that she and her family can spend some more time with the old pooch.
